Save a book from a post on X
A bookmark on X keeps the post and never the book, so a book you meant to read sinks under everything you saved after it. Buki adds a small button under every post on X: press it, and Buki names the book in the picture and keeps it on your shelf, linked to the post.

How it works
- Add Buki to Chrome. Its mark appears in the row of buttons under each post on X.
- Press it on a post with a book. Buki reads the cover and the post's words on X together, and checks the title against OpenLibrary.
- Keep it. The book goes on your shelf with the post you found it in, on X, one click away.
Bookmarks or a shelf
- A bookmark has no title to search for. Every book on your shelf has one, and a Buy link.
- Bookmarks are one long list. Buki files books under Reading now, Next, Someday and Finished, and in shelves you name.
- A shelf can be shared as a picture or a list, and exported as a CSV for Goodreads or StoryGraph.

How do I save a book I see on Twitter?
Add Buki to Chrome, then press its button under the post. Twitter is X now, and the Buki button sits under every post on X.
What does Buki read on X?
The picture and the post's words on X, together, so a book the photo hides can still be found. Then it checks the title against OpenLibrary.

Is it free?
Ten catches are free, and a catch is one picture, however many books it holds. Then $29 a year, or $4 a month, or free with your own Google AI Studio key.
Does it work in the X app on my phone?
No. Buki is a Chrome extension for computers, and on a computer it works on x.com in Chrome.
